The East Riding County FA are running two workshops for those coaches that would like to know more about working with disabled and deaf/hearing impaired players.
Coaching Disabled Footballers Awareness Workshop
This workshop will include:
- Playing opportunity's for footballers with a disability including Player Pathway
- Understanding Impairments (practical)
- Understanding how to make your sessions inclusive
- Coaching & volunteering opportunities
This course will involve an element of indoor practical involvement.

Date: Tuesday 20th March 2012
Venue: Bishop Burton College, York Road, Beverley, HU17 8QG
Time: 6.00pm-9.00pm
Cost: £15
Minimum Age: 16
Prerequisites: None
Coaching Deaf Footballers Awareness Workshop
The workshop will include:
- Coaching Implications
- Understanding the needs of deaf players
- Basic BSL for football

Date: Thursday 22nd March 2012
Venue: Hull and East Riding Sports Club, Chanterlands Avenue, Hull, HU5 4ED
Time: 6.00pm-9.00pm
Cost: £5
The Coaching Deaf Footballers Awareness workshop is free to all Deaf Friendly Football Clubs.
Minimum Age: 16
Prerequisites: None
There will be no practical involvement to the course and no formal assessment.
