The main functions of this post are to assist the Diving Development Manager in organising, developing and delivering the teaching and coaching programme. This in turn meets the needs of diving in the Harrogate District, enabling divers at all levels from beginner to international status, to reach their full potential.

You will need an ASA Level Two Teachers Certificate for Diving. ASA Level One Teachers for Diving may be considered if the candidate has the necessary experience and is willing to work towards a Level Two Qualification.

Knowledge and experience of dry land training for divers is desirable. A gymnastics / trampoline coaching qualification would be desirable. You will also ideally have previous experience of coaching at all levels plus previous involvement at competitions.

Candidates must hold an RLSS Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualifications or be willing to work towards them.
